What ATP-CTP Does and Does Not Do
ATP-CTP is required before taking the FAA multiengine airplane ATP knowledge test. Completing the course does not itself issue an ATP certificate, replace the knowledge test, guarantee practical-test eligibility or necessarily include test preparation.
Price Is Only One Part of the Cost
Confirm tuition, deposits, taxes, materials and rescheduling terms.
Ask whether ATM knowledge-test preparation or the test fee is included.
Add airfare, hotel, meals, transport and extra nights caused by scheduling.
A realistic comparison adds the current written course quote, any separate ATM test fee, transportation, lodging plus a delay buffer, local transport, meals and published change fees. Review whether ATP-CTP includes the ATM knowledge test before comparing package totals.
